SERVICES + PROCESS
Therapy is a relationship, and it is important to find a good fit. I encourage clients to explore their options; don't be afraid to interview the therapist and ask questions about the treatment process.
The therapeutic alliance (the relationship between the client and therapist) is what effects change, transformation, and progress, moving the client towards their goals of symptom relief.
Therapy is also a collaborative process, the therapist and client work together to formulate a treatment plan.
At times I may feel that I am not a good fit for a prospective client's needs. If this is the case, I will make a referral to someone who is better equipped to meet those needs.
